History

Anup Kayastha in 2009 started blogging as a hobby. He began with the free service provided by Google; Blogger to blog about his personal experiences. At first 5 months of blogging, he gained some technical skills in developing and designing Blogger Templates and search engine optimization. In August 2009, with the aim of sharing these knowledge with people, he started HackTutors using the free domain and hosting service provided by Blogger.com. He went very well with the blog and he became successful in gaining trust among readers which resulted good popularity in blogoshphere. Why HackTutors have .INFO domain name? I've been asked many times why I'm with .INFO domain when .COM domain is highly poplar TLD on the internet. Well, it's quite weird to run a website with .INFO TLD and I feel that too. But there is a reason why I purchased .INFO and not .COM. It's not because HackTutors.com was unavailable, it was simply because I didn't have the money. I mean yeah, I had a lot of money to spend that I had in my real life, but at online, I didn't have anything to spend. So with very limited budget I hardly purchased .INFO TLD which costed about three bucks and it was way cheaper than other TLDs. Few months after getting into the line of my budget, I thought of buying .COM TLD, but unfortunately it was already taken by someone else. It's quite obvious somebody could easily grab HackTututors.COM domain name when there's already a popular blog that just holds on with 'rarely used' .INFO TLD, HackTutors.INFO. Luckily the owner let the domain expire so I eventually grabbed HackTutors.com and now HckTutors.com redirects to HackTutors.info.
