Same here! I also use ezinearticle and article base as they are much popular than other.
Remember that the PR of the homepage means nothing for passing PR juice for an individual article. Your article when submitted will have a PR of N/A and likely take at least a quarter (3 months) to get an established PR to provide benefit from SEO perspective. You will however get benefit of potential readers who may follow to your blog.

Ezine and article base are the best to me. I use them and i receive good traffic from them.
